The next episode should be out tomorrow. I took a week off to catch up some sleep. Plus, I wanted to time out my 50th episode for the episode after I get back from Toronto, not on the weekend of.I’m going to give everyone on the forums first crack at the first ever DTB contest.
The prize? THE BAVA BOX SET Vol. 1 by Anchor Bay Entertainment
Now, since this is a prize that I’m putting up with my own money, only the hard workers will have a better chance at getting this one.
Here are the things you can do to get qualified:
1. VOTE & LEAVE A COMMENT FOR DTB ON PODCAST ALLEY Search for “Destroy the Brain” or go to
www.destroythebrainonline.com & click on the Vote button off to the right. However, when you are voting, make sure to leave a comment. THIS IS IMPORTANT. When you leave a comment, I will have your email address (sort of) and this is one way to identify you.
2. MAKE DTB ONE OF YOUR TOP FRIENDS ON MYSPACE This is one way to get DTB more exposure and DTB needs it.
3. POST A BULLETIN EVERY WEEK ON MYSPACE ABOUT HOW YOU ENJOY DTB OR THINK THAT IT’S AN AWESOME SHOW. Email andy@destroythebrainonline.com if you need any graphics or anything, but a simple link should do. Also, I will only count you for one entry into the contest once there are 5 bulletins posted (one bulletin every week of August). If you post 5 bulletins a week, I will only count for the first one.
4. HAVE YOUR FRIENDS ADD DTB TO MYSPACE OR JOIN THE GROUP ON FACEBOOK Have someone who is not a friend add DTB to Myspace or Facebook. This would only count if someone you know isn’t my friend on either website. Also, you will probably want to send me an email saying who you are sending my way or have them put that in when asking me to be their friend.
5. JOIN THE DTB GROUP ON FACEBOOK This can be done by clicking on the graphic on the right of the page on www.destroythebrainonline.com
6. LEAVE A VOICEMAIL ON THE DTB LINE I will not count any “I’m just calling in for qualification”, you must contribute or pose a related question.
7. SIGN UP ON THE FORUMS AND POST UP TO 5 CONTRIBUTING POSTS For those of you on the forums now, I will include you in this.
8. LEAVE A REVIEW ON iTUNES be sure to email me with your screenname from iTunes so I can validate it.
9. EMAIL ANDY@DESTROYTHEBRAINONLINE.COM WITH THE “WORD OF DOOM” Every Episode in August, I will have a word that will be announced in differnt time periods of the show. It will change every week and if you email me all 5 of them by August 31st at 11:59 CDT, you get another qualification entry!
